Budget Basements uses the Design-Build approach for delivering customer satisfaction. What is Design-Build? In a Design-Build approach, the Designer and contractor functions as one entity, This streamlined approach results in cost-savings and faster project completion, among other benefits. In the traditional approach, a customer/owner hires one company for design and permitting and different company for contracting. At Budget Basements, we are all-inclusive, your design, permits and construction are handled under the same umbrella. Building permits are include in our basement estimates at not extra charge!

Our team of professionals includes our own in-house Designer, Structural Engineers, licensed Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians and experienced quality-conscious Carpenters. You can count on us to transform your basement into a pleasing and functional code-compliant space for personal use for generating rental income.

OUR PROCESS

STEP 1.

Responding to Request

We get back to you within 48 hours to arrange for your free consultation. At this stage we listen and answer your questions, note your requests/ideas and schedule site visit if necessary.

STEP 2.

Design & Construction Estimate

After the site visit, with measurements hand and your ideas in mind we create a 2D and 3D code-compliant design that captures your requests and style, A estimate, based on our standard finishes, and a draft design is emailed for your review and feedback.

STEP 3.Design Meeting

We schedule a meeting to review and finalize all the details for your finished basement. The next step is the permitting process where we submit an application to your municipality for a permit construct your legal or finished basement.

STEP 4.
Construction

Upon approval of building permit, we set a start date and provided a schedule, Staying true to our Design-Build approach, our team of designers, carpenters, plumbers and electricians work in collaboration to deliver a hassle free experience.
